For a few miles along the Las Vegas Strip, extravagant hedonism is the norm.  All that temptation entices 40 million visitors a year, but beyond the allure of the Strip, almost two million people live a regular life - unless you consider slot machines in the grocery store or professional gamblers as neighbors to be irregular.  I was born and raised here, so it's all totally normal for me.
